Jol has seen his side lose their opening two matches

After heavy investment in the summer, Spurs have lost their first two games.

"If we have a meeting it's for him to encourage me and say he's behind me," Jol told BBC Radio 5live.

"We're in the same boat. We're not the same as clubs like Liverpool, we are Spurs. With our philosophy, method and resources, we will build a great team."

With new signings like �16.5m Darren Bent, Gareth Bale and French defender Younes Kaboul, hopes were high that this season Tottenham would challenge for a Champions League place.

But the season began disappointingly when Spurs went down to a last-minute defeat at Sunderland on the opening day of the season.

They then lost their opening home game 3-1 to Everton, a result which Jol said left him feeling "rotten" after the side were booed off by the home fans.

Injuries to striker Dimitar Berbatov and Kaboul have only added to his problems, but Jol insisted the meeting with Levy was nothing to worry about.

"I'm getting on fine with him, he wants to support me all the time," said Jol.

"He's responsible as well. He's working 18 hours for this club and tries to get players in.
