Tottenham defender Anthony Gardner has signed a new three-year contract to extend his stay with the club. The central defender joined from Port Vale in January 2000 and has made more than 100 league appearances for Spurs.
"Anthony is a valuable member of our squad, a good professional who always does the job when called upon," boss Martin Jol told the club's website.
Gardner, 25, had been linked with a move away from White Hart Lane but Jol was keen to persuade him to stay.
