England goalkeeper Paul Robinson has signed a new seven-year contract with Tottenham Hotspur. The 25-year-old has committed himself to the club on a long-term basis after an impressive first season.
Robinson, who cost 1.5m when he arrived from Leeds in May 2004, had been the subject of reported interest from clubs at home and abroad.
But he said: "There has never been any doubt on my part that this is where I want to be."
Robinson has subsequently become England's first-choice keeper.
He added: "I have thoroughly enjoyed my first year here and the chairman showed his commitment to me by signing me in the first place and by signing this new deal. I'm repaying that faith."
