Tottenham have completed the signing of Sweden international Erik Edman from Dutch club Heerenveen. Edman, who started his career at Swedish club Helsingborgs, passed a medical on Friday.
The 25-year-old left-back played in all three of Sweden's group games at Euro 2004 in Portugal.
Spurs are also giving a trial to PSV Eindhoven's Brazilian striker Edson Rolando Silva Sousa and Lens forward Dagui Bakari.
Spurs are looking to bolster their attack after Robbie Keane suffered ankle ligament damage in a pre-season game against Rangers.
