Torquay boss Paul Buckle keen on more loan signings
Buckle has been in charge at Plainmoor since 2007
Torquay United manager Paul Buckle has said he is hoping to add more players to his promotion chasing squad.
A 2-2 draw with Cheltenham on Tuesday has left the Gulls three points adrift of the League Two play-off places.
"I think we need to add a couple to the squad," Buckle told BBC Devon. "With games coming thick and fast I feel we maybe need to add a couple.
"I've been trying hard for the last couple of days to get one or two in, although it hasn't come to fruition."
Torquay, who are currently 10th in the standings, have already brought in Northampton midfielder Ryan Gilligan on loan in February.
"We're still learning, we're a good side and we're improving," Buckle continued. "We're unbeaten in five now and we're right in there.
"I thought we looked threatening against Cheltenham. I thought we looked dangerous and had a lot of pace and a lot of guile in the side and I'll be looking for similar ilk."
Torquay's next league match is away against mid-table Accrington on Saturday.
