Histon striker Danny Wright is considering a loan move to League Two side Torquay.
Wright, 24, has a contract at the Glass World which runs until summer 2011 but has been frozen out of the first team.
Stutes manager Alan Lewer told BBC Radio Cambridgeshire: "Danny wants to play in the Football League and we're trying to help him to do that.
"He has got quite a few options and will be assessing those options for next year."
Wright has scored eight league goals for Histon this season, but has struggled with a number of injury problems.
He has not played in the last three matches after refusing to sign a new contract.
"I wish Danny all the very best and I hope he can play in the Football League because that's where everyone wants to play," Lewer said.
