Manager Paul Buckle says Torquay United are improving
Buckle has been manager at Plainmoor since 2007
Torquay United manager Paul Buckle insists his side are improving every time they take to the pitch.
The Gulls, who are third from bottom of League Two, have drawn both of their previous two matches
Buckle told BBC Devon: "There's been outstanding performances in the last two games, we just haven't had the points we deserve.
"It's a question of putting the ball in the back of the net again and we're improving every game."
Substitute Mustapha Carayol was Torquay's hero against Cheltenham on Tuesday, with his 89th-minute strike earning the Devon side a point.
But Buckle felt his side were once again unlucky not come away with all three points.
He said: "I've been disappointed for the last 10 games because we've deserved to win games on the performance levels.
"We're finding it difficult to stick the ball in the back of the net but we're making the chances."
And with play-off chasing Accrington Stanley the visitors to Plainmoor on Saturday, Buckle has urged his players to put previous disappointments behind them.
He said: "Everything that's gone before us has gone, now it's about Accrington [Stanley] on Saturday.
"They're flying high at the right end of the league, and we're going to have to go and dig in and have a fight, and then play when we can."
