Buckle says the all-Devon play-off is far from over
Torquay boss Paul Buckle said the fight to reach the Blue Square play-off final is not over after his side beat Exeter City 2-1 in the semi-final first leg.
A last-minute winner from striker Chris Zebroski in Thursday's clash at St James' Park gave Torquay the upper hand for Monday's return leg.
"If we had lost today it would not be over, and it is not over because we've won," Buckle told BBC Radio Devon.
"We really have done nothing yet, nothing at all."
Buckle was pleased with his side's solid performance and was full of praise for Zebroski, who charged down goalkeeper Paul Jones' clearance in the last minute to score the winning goal.
"I like my strikers to shut down goalkeepers because it doesn't cost nothing. We did shut him down and Zeb's got his rewards," Buckle added.
