Torquay United have revealed that they will not be automatically renewing the contract of head coach Keith Curle when it expires at the end of next month. Instead Curle has been invited to re-apply for the vacant position of first-team manager at Plainmoor.
The Gulls intend to make further announcements with regard to the vacancy by the end of the week.
Curle was appointed as Gulls head coach in February 2007 by then director of football Colin Lee.
Curle, played for Torquay between November 1983 and March 1984, and later was the captain at Wolves when Lee was in charge at Molineux.
