Todd and Bedeau will both line up for Torquay next season |
Torquay boss Paul Buckle has again returned to former club Exeter to sign defender Chris Todd in a 7,500 deal. The ex-Grecians captain, 25, has signed a three-year contract and follows striker Lee Phillips and keeper Martin Rice in joining the Gulls from Exeter.
Buckle has also brought former Torquay striker Tony Bedeau back to Plainmoor from Walsall after he agreed a 12-month deal with the Blue Square Premier side.
Bedeau, 28, spent 11 years with Torquay before joining Walsall last summer.
But he started just 10 senior games for the Saddlers as they were promoted from League Two, and also had a spell on loan at Bury.
Bedeau has scored 65 goals in 347 league and cup appearances for Torquay, and told the club website: "It is great to be back.
"The club has changed a lot since I was here, and I am looking forward to the new season."
