Abbey turned down the offer of a new contract |
Goalkeeper Nathan Abbey has played his last game for Torquay. His contract ends on 28 December and after lengthy negotiations he has not been able to agree a new contract.
Abbey joined the Gulls at the start of this season after he was released by Bristol City and had been living in Luton and was commuting to training.
The club offered him a new six-month deal which included him moving his family from Bedfordshire but Abbey declined the offer.
