Torquay boss Leroy Rosenior has boosted his squad by taking Huddersfield full-back Anthony Lloyd on loan. The 21-year-old can operate at either left or right-back.
Terriers boss Peter Jackson told his club's website: "It was fair to let him go on loan, especially as his contract is up at the end of the season."
Huddersfield have placed no restrictions on Lloyd, who will be available for Torquay's FA Cup tie against Harrogate this weekend.
Lloyd came through Huddersfield's academy and since making his debut in 2003 has made 40 league appearances.
