Hinckley United boss Dean Thomas has made Tamworth striker Carl Heggs his first summer signing. The 35-year-old has previously played for West Brom, Bristol Rovers, Swansea, Northampton, Rushden & Diamonds, Chester, Carlisle and Forest Green.
"Carl played about 40 games for Tamworth last season so his fitness is not in doubt," said Thomas.
"He sees what we're trying to do here and he's joined for that rather than money, which is a refreshing change."
