Swindon boss Danny Wilson desperate to strengthen squad
Wilson expects at least one permanent signing before the end of January
Swindon Town manager Danny Wilson says the club are doing everything possible to sign more players before the end of the January transfer window.
Swindon have recently lost defender Sean Morrison to Reading and the future of striker Charlie Austin is uncertain.
Asked whether fans can expect to see some new faces at the County Ground, Wilson told BBC Wiltshire: "We're trying like you won't believe.
"The work we're putting in to get players here is second-to-none."
Wilson continued: "It's difficult but we're still very hopeful that before the end of the transfer window we'll have someone permanently.
He's been training with us the last few days and we've got high hopes for the boy, we think he'll be a good player

"And even the week after that, when the emergency transfer window opens, we'll exploit that as well but certainly we want some players in before that."
Swindon have made one new signing this month, with central defender Aden Flint arriving from Blue Square North outfit Alfreton Town, but he is not yet able to play a competitive match.
"He's not registered yet as we need to tweak one or two areas which the chairman is looking after," added Wilson.
"But he's been training with us the last few days and we've got high hopes for the boy, we think he'll be a good player."
