Nalis could add vital experience to Swindon's midfield
Former Plymouth midfielder Lilian Nalis is training with Swindon as they try to strengthen their squad for the new League One season.
The 36-year-old was released by the Championship side after making 43 appearances for them last season.
Swindon have struggled to add to their squad this summer, with only Michael Timlin and Kevin Amankwaah moving to the County Ground so far.
Nalis is expected to make his pre-season debut at Chippenham on Saturday.
The Frenchman started his career in England at Leicester in 2003 having previously played for Le Havre, Bastia and Chievo.
Meanwhile, Swindon boss Maurice Malpas has revealed that Eastleigh winger Mark Marshall is to return to the non-league side following his trial with the Robins, although a return to the County Ground has not been ruled out.
Marshall was involved in setting up one of Town's two goals in Tuesday's pre-season win at Hampton & Richmond.
Simon Cox scored both in the 2-1 victory, taking his tally six in five games this summer.
