Swindon striker Blair Sturrock is hoping he has done enough to make it difficult for Maurice Malpas to drop him for Swindon's next game.

The 26-year-old scored his sixth goal of the season in Saturday's 2-2 draw at home to Carlisle.

"I wanted to come in and fight for my position by putting in a performance," he told BBC Radio Wiltshire.

"To top it all off with a goal was great. I could have had a few more, but I'll take that."
