Swindon pleased with weekend off

Craig Easton is hoping Swindon's blank weekend will help some of their injured players recover for next week.

Saturday's scheduled match at Bristol Rovers has been postponed because of their FA Cup quarter-final on Sunday.

"We've had a lot of games recently so maybe it's good," Easton told BBC Radio Swindon. "Those carrying knocks can get a wee rest of their legs."

The Robins are hoping the break will give Jamie Vincent and Michael Pook time to recover from their injuries.

But Easton is already focusing on Tuesday night's trip to Leyton Orient and added: "We'll be on the training ground getting ready for it because we've got tough games coming up.

"If we want to do anything, we've got to get something out of these."
