The 17-year-old defender recently had a trial with Everton, but Byrne says there is other interest.

"We have had enquiries from more than one Premiership club for Ben, but that is down to what he's been doing on the pitch," Byrne told Swindon's website.

"Ben knows about the situation but he is concentrating on the immediate future with Swindon."
