Swindon captain Ady Williams will undergo knee surgery that could keep him on the sidelines for a few weeks. Doctors will look at the extent of the problem which has forced the 35-year-old Welsh defender to miss the last three fixtures.
Williams joined the Robins on a free transfer from Coventry in June 2006.
He has made a big impact as skipper and took over as caretaker manager after Dennis Wise joined Leeds and before boss Paul Sturrock was appointed.
