Swindon Town striker Ashan Holgate has joined Conference South side Newport County on a month's loan. Holgate, 19, made a handful of appearances for the Robins last season but has figured just twice so far under Dennis Wise this term.
Meanwhile, Town midfielder Andy Caton has been ruled out for up to three weeks with a hamstring strain.
Caton, who has made six first-team appearances this season, was injured playing in an under-18 game.
