Swindon Town have signed former Nottingham Forest midfielder Paul Evans on a one-year contract, subject to Football League approval. The 31-year-old, who won two full caps for Wales, was released by Nottingham Forest at the end of last season.
Oswestry-born Evans began his career at Shrewsbury, making nearly 200 appearances for the Shropshire club.
He then spent three years at Brentford before spells with Bradford, Blackpool, Rotherham and Forest.
