Swindon Town have signed goalkeeper Phil Smith on a one-year contract. The former Crawley Town stopper will become the understudy to Peter Brezovan at the County Ground.
Smith, 26, has impressed during the pre-season tour of Ibiza and boss Dennis Wise had no hesitation in offering him a deal.
The former Margate keeper said: "The manager has made the situation clear and all I can do is work as hard as I can to push for a first-team slot."
