Swindon boss Andy King has formally completed the signing of striker Christian Roberts from Bristol City on a two-and-a-half year deal. Roberts, who has only scored once for City this season, is expected to make his debut against Oldham this weekend.
City last week accepted an initial 20,000 for him, plus a further 30,000 based on appearances and performances.
There is also an undisclosed sell-on fee included in the deal for the 24-year-old Welsh striker.
His chances of first-team football at Ashton Gate decreased with the signing of Paul Heffernan and Steve Brooker.
Swindon boss Andy King told his club's website: "He gives me another option.
"Although Jamie McMaster is here (on loan), I am not sure that playing up front is his best position.
"Roberts fits the bill that I have been looking for - we haven't had a type like him since Eric Sabin and Danny Invincibile."
