Swansea City have signed former Chelsea goalkeeper Yves Makabu-Makalambay until the end of the season.
The 24-year-old Belgium-born DR Congo international was released by Scottish club Hibernian at the end of last term and had been on trial at Swansea.
He will make his debut in Tuesday's Carling Cup game at Peterborough as he looks to push Dorus de Vries and David Cornell for a starting place.
"I believe in myself and will do all I can," said Makabu-Makalambay.
The 6ft 7ins keeper was on the bench for Chelsea's Champions League 1-0 group stage victory over Barcelona at Stamford Bridge in October 2006.
Makabu-Makalambay worked with new Swans boss Brendan Rodgers during his time in the Chelsea back-room staff.
