McDonald's career has been well travelled

Swansea City will run the rule over 24-year-old Farnborough striker Dean McDonald in training this week.

The London-born front man started as an apprentice at Arsenal before moving to Ipswich where he made his senior debut as a 19-year-old.

McDonald has also played for Hartlepool, Gillingham, Inverness, Rushden, Northwich Victoria and Tooting & Mitcham.

Swansea say that Celtic have also shown interest in the youngster.
