Ferrie Bodde scored on his return from his latest knee injury in a 59-minute appearance for Swansea City's reserves on Wednesday.
The £5m-rated Dutchman, 27, only came back last September from 10 months out with cruciate ligament damage but was ruled out again within two weeks.
Initial scans showed a reoccurrence of the original tear, but a second opinion in Holland delivered better news.
Bodde struck after 23 minutes in the 2-1 win over Bristol City at the Gnoll.
"I'm really happy with how things went," said Bodde.
"I've been training with the guys for the past three weeks and I was really happy to get the amount of time on the pitch as I did."
