Davies will face Swansea again in the replay on 24 February

Welsh international midfielder Simon Davies has compared Swansea's style of play to that of Barcelona.

Davies was in the Fulham team that drew 1-1 in the FA Cup fifth round clash, despite being outclassed by the Swans.

He said: "The way they play it's almost like Barcelona, utilising the wide players very wide when we play with a narrow four to try and keep it tight.

"So that would always make it difficult for us and we were hoping to perhaps nick something on the break."

Davies, 29, added: "It's such a big pitch. It's so difficult to get on the ball and we have to be happy to take the draw.

"Now we can look forward to trying to get the win in the replay."
