Nathan Dyer has impressed during his loan spell at Swansea City
Swansea City hope to complete the permanent signings of loan players Nathan Dyer and Dimi Konstantopoulos on Monday's transfer deadline day.
Greek Goalkeeper Konstantopoulos has been on loan from Coventry since October and is set to sign.
Southampton winger Dyer joined Swansea last month and the Welsh club want to buy him for approximately £500,000.
But chairman Huw Jenkins says Swansea will not be held to ransom on the fee and will not be "pushed into a corner."
Championship rivals Southampton and Swansea are in negotiations on a Swansea club record price for Dyer, who has scored once on his loan spell in south Wales.
And Jenkins told the South Wales Evening Post: "I don't like being pushed into a corner.
"And the fact that the transfer window about to close means there is not much room for negotiation.
"You don't want to be in a position where there's a gun held to your head and I can tell you that if a deal is not right for Swansea City, it will not happen."
Saints boss Paul Wotte wants to keep Dyer and said after Saturday's 2-2 draw at St Mary's: "My advice to the board will be to keep him."
