And with midfielder Andy Robinson already choosing to move to Leeds, Bodde's departure would make it a huge double blow for the Swans.
But Jenkins said the club is not in a situation where players need to be sold.
"It has never been our intention to move players on, we want to make sure we strengthen the side in the summer," he said.
"Ferrie signed a three-year contract when he joined us last year and until that changes, he will remain our player.
"The manager says he thinks Ferrie is worth 2m and I think if a player is intent on leaving and you get the right valuation, then we might have to look at it.
"But nobody has met our valuation on a player that we think can be playing in the top four of the Premier League."
Should Swansea get their asking price, it would shatter the previous 1m record-fee they received for Lee Trundle from Bristol City last summer.
