Swansea City have recruited right-back Angel Rangel from Terrassa FC, their second signing from Spain this week. Rangel, 24, has agreed personal terms on a minimum performance-related deal of one year for an undisclosed fee, and will fly to Britain on Saturday.
He follows Espanyol striker Guillem Bauza Mayol in joining Swansea.
"We've been following Rangel for some time, he had a great season and there were a number of clubs chasing him," said Swansea manager Roberto Martinez.

"It's great to see a player accepting the challenge of playing abroad rather than taking the easy option of staying at home.
"That shows he is hungry and desperate to progress his career at Swansea."
Catalan-side Terrassa play in the Spanish third tier, the equivalent of Swansea's League One in Britain, and Martinez says Angel has all the attributes to be a success in this country.
"He is a good, attacking full-back who is also strong defensively, playing anywhere across the back," the Spaniard told the Swansea website.
