Oakes has played for Derby and Bolton in the Premiership |
Swansea have completed the signing of goalkeeper Andy Oakes from Walsall. The 29-year-old, whose Saddlers' deal expired this summer, has joined on a one-year contract.
Oakes started his career with Winsford then Hull, before a 460,000 move to Derby in 1999. He switched to Bolton in 2005 before his Walsall deal.
The Swans have been seeking a stopper to push first-choice Willy Gueret, having seen Wales keeper Jason Brown turn them down in favour of Blackburn.
