Swansea City goalkeeping coach Tony Pennock has had surgery after breaking his leg while playing in a friendly for Newport County on Saturday. "It's very disappointing for Tony and for us," said Swansea assistant manager Kevin Nugent.
"We all hope he will be back on the training ground with us soon because he'll be sorely missed. Everyone at the club wishes him well."
Pennock, 35, played for Newport last season while also coaching at Swansea.
