Adebayo Akinfenwa says he is ready to fight for his place among Swansea's starting forward line this season. Rory Fallon and Leon Knight now seem to be manager Kenny Jackett's preferred striking partnership, with Lee Trundle first change option off the bench.
"It can only make me stronger as an individual to try and get my place in the team," Akinfenwa said.
"But you need more than just 11 players - me and Trundle started last season but then Fallon and Knighty came in."
