 Way has scored three goals for Yeovil this season |
Swansea have signed Darren Way from Yeovil for a fee of around �150,000. The 26-year-old midfielder agreed personal terms and passed a medical on Friday, but he will not be included in Swansea's squad for Saturday's game.
Way, who has signed for three and a half years, is not fit having been out since facing the Swans last November with of a stress fracture in his leg.
He had only just returned to action after being sidelined for a month with a broken cheekbone and eye socket.
Since moving from Norwich in 2000 on a free transfer, Way has made over 200 appearances for Yeovil and scored 32 goals.
Said Swansea chairman Huw Jenkins: "Other clubs had been chasing Darren since the January transfer window, so we are delighted to finally get our man."
