Utility player Andy Gurney says he has not given up on Swansea after being surprisingly put on the transfer list. "It was a shock to be transfer listed, we won promotion and I felt that I had played my part," Gurney told BBC Sport.
"I've got two years left on my contract and want to stay and change people's minds. I've not looked for a move, but if something comes along we'll see."
Gurney, 31, only started one of the Swans' last six league games, having joined from Swindon in September.
"I've played most of my football in League One and feel I have plenty to offer Swansea in that division," said the ex-Bristol Rovers, Reading, Torquay and Swindon man.
"My mind is set on proving people wrong when we return for pre-season training on 1 July."
