Swansea City manager Kenny Jackett says the shock 2-0 FA Cup loss at Stockport should jolt his team. "It's a big reminder that we have got to work hard and do the basics right in every game," said Jackett.
"I would like to think that we came to Stockport with the right attitude, but it was a poor performance, not cohesive in attack or defence.
"When the opportunity came to pass the ball in the last half hour we weren't able to take it."
Jackett's options continue to be limitied by striker Adebayo Akinfenwa, who is struggling with a stress fracture of the shin
He needs to be nursed through the next few matches, but ultimately surgery may be required.
In better news for the Swans, they have secured a new deal with Wales Under-21 midfielder Owain Tudur Jones.
The 21-year-old joined from Bangor in the summer for �5,000 on a one-year deal, but that has now been extended for a further two years.
