 Swansea will be delighted with their financial performance |
Swansea City have announced that the club made a net profit of �137,581 for the year which ended on 31 May 2004. There was an increase of nearly �1m in the club's turnover because the team reached the last 16 of the FA Cup.
They were also boosted by increases in season ticket sales, matchday gate receipts and commercial income.
The profit compares with a net loss of �414,724 the previous financial year, welcome news just ahead of the move to Swansea's new stadium home in Morfa.
