Connor joined the Swans for 35,000 from Rochdale in March |
Swansea striker Paul Connor has agreed a year's extension to his contract. The 25-year-old signed an 18-month deal when he joined for 35,000 from Rochdale in March, but an option for a further season was written in.
"I had a decent time at the end of last season and I guess the manager decided he liked me as he wanted me to take the extra year," said Connor.
Meanwhile, the Swans are keen to keep Watford loan signing Scott Fitzgerald at the Vetch for another month.
The 24-year-old has started just one game and made two brief substitute appearances since arriving amidst a striker crisis at the club four weeks ago.
"I've been impressed with Scott and I would like to keep him, he has been unlucky not to get more of a chance," Swansea manager Kenny Jackett told the South Wales Evening Post.
"We'll have to see whether it's feasible with Scott and with Watford."
