Swans release midfield duo
| Connolly joined from QPR last August | Swansea City manager Kenny Jackett has decided not to offer midfielder Karl Connolly a new contract at the Vetch. The player will not be involved against York City on Saturday because of a hamstring problem and has missed much of the season with injury. Brian Flynn signed Connolly on a 12-month deal last August, having previously coached him at Wrexham. Jackett has also decided that Richard Jones will be going back to Premiership outfit Southampton. The teenager has spent most of the season on loan with Swansea, but has not featured in any first-team games since Jackett took over as manager.
