Maylett gets new Swans deal

Swansea City wing Brad Maylett has signed a new two-year contract at the Vetch after impressing manager Kenny Jackett. "I wanted to complete it sooner but the new manager was always going to have his opinions," the 23-year-old told the South Wales Evening Post. "I had to prove myself to him and didn't have long to do it." Maylett was signed by former Swansea manager Brian Flynn last summer after a loan spell at the Vetch. "I've been very impressed by Brad during my short spell at the club and I'm delighted to tie him down for another two years," said Jackett.
