Rochdale striker Paul Connor has completed his move to Swansea City. The two clubs have agreed a fee of 35,000 for the 25-year-old, who was Dale's record signing when he joined from Stoke for 150,000 in March 2001.
Connor would have been out of contract in the summer and turned down the chance of a new deal.
"I spoke to Paul earlier this week and basically told him he either signed a new contract or left the club," boss Steve Parkin told his club's website.
"Unfortunately for us he decided it would be better if he didn't sign a new deal."
Connor scored 32 times during his stay at Spotland.
