Sunderland caretaker boss Ricky Sbragia has remained coy about taking the job on a permanent basis after guiding the club away from the relegation zone.
Sbragia took over from Roy Keane after the Irishman quit on 4 December.
"I'll be in charge on Sunday and just take it from there," Sbragia told BBC Sport after Sunderland beat Hull 4-1 to haul the club up to 12th place.
"I'm enjoying it and it's beginning to feel nice. I'll just and wait and see what happens upstairs."
While Sbragia was being interviewed a number of his players walked by and shouted out for him to be given the job full-time.
Sunderland have looked a different team since he took over from Keane, as the Black Cats narrowly fell to a 1-0 away defeat to Manchester United, before beating West Brom 4-0 and now Hull City.
"The players have been absolutely tremendous, and that includes the squad players," said Sbragia, explaining the transformation in Sunderland's fortunes. "They have got their minds right.
"We have given the players a lot of responsibility and they have got together and that has showed on the field of play. We've a joy collectively and we're not a team of individuals.
"We had to get out of the bottom three and into the habit of winning and install a feel-good factor."
