Sunderland manager Roy Keane is hoping to bring in two or three more players before the end of the transfer window on 1 September.

The Black Cats lost 1-0 to Liverpool in their opening Premier League match at the Stadium of Light on Saturday.

Keane told BBC Radio Newcastle: "I do believe we're probably short in two or three positions.

"Over the course of the season you're going to have injuries and suspension, and that's why we need more."
