Sunderland defender Nyron Nosworthy is relieved to have shaken off an abdominal injury in time to hopefully impress new manager Roy Keane. The 25-year-old had not played this season but came on as a late substitute in the 2-0 win over West Brom.
"The injury kept me out longer than I thought, and it's important I am fit this week," he told the club website.
"The new manager is taking a look at everyone - if you are in the treatment room, it's difficult to impress him."
