Turkey striker Tuncay joined Stoke from Middlesbrough for 5m in August
Stoke manager Tony Pulis said Tuncay's reaction to being taken off in the 2-1 defeat by Bolton will not stop him replacing the striker again.
The Turkey international stormed down the tunnel after being substituted for Ricardo Fuller after 77 minutes.
"It makes no difference to me," Pulis told BBC Radio Stoke. "If I have to bring him off again, I'll do it.
"It's not about egos, it's about the team and this football club. If they don't like it, they don't like it."
Pulis continued: "If you say to me that it will affect me next time and I don't want to bring him off, he'll be a bit surprised because I will bring him off again if I think it's right."
Tuncay, who has scored five goals for Stoke since joining from Middlesbrough in August, reacted similarly to being taken off during the defeat at Hull in November.
On that occasion he had only been on the field for seven minutes before Pulis was forced to make a tactical switch to cover for red-carded defender Abdoulaye Faye.
Matt Taylor scored two late goals for Bolton at the Britannia Stadium on Saturday to prevent the Potters reaching 46 points and surpassing their tally from their first season in the Premier League.
