Wilkinson has started Stoke's last five Premier League matches
Stoke City defender Andy Wilkinson has revealed he would like to stay with the club for the rest of his career.
The 24-year-old, who signed a new deal in January, made his debut for the Potters in October 2001.
"This is where I want to be. It's the club I support and where I want to play all of my career," the Staffordshire-born player told BBC Radio Stoke.
"It would be a dream come true to do that and hopefully I can finish my career here at Stoke."
Wilkinson was born in nearby Stone and came through the Stoke City academy before making his first-team debut for the Potters in October 2001.
He has had loan spells with Telford, Partick Thistle, Shrewsbury and Blackpool.
The right-back injured his ankle against Tottenham on 27 January, a problem that flared up against Sunderland 11 days later and forced him to be substituted.
He added: "The doctor gave me an injection but he hit a nerve, and I think there's more chance of being struck by lightning than doing that.
"It was just one of those things, but I'm fine now and ready to go against Portsmouth."
