Stoke have only picked up two points away from home this season
Stoke City manager Tony Pulis says the Potters must bounce back quickly from Saturday's 5-0 defeat away to Manchester United.
Pulis told BBC Radio Stoke: "We have to wash this away as quick as we can.
"We lost at Man City and came back with a great win against Sunderland and that's what we need to do now."
The result halted a run of four games without defeat for City and leaves them still looking for an away win in the Premier League.
Striker Ricardo Fuller picked up his fifth booking of the season in the defeat at Old Trafford and will be suspended for West Brom's visit to the Britannia Stadium next Saturday (22 November 1500 GMT).
"Ric will be a massive miss for us and we're very disappointed," said Pulis.
"In the past couple of seasons he has been the difference when we've played West Brom."
Pulis also pronounced himself happy with the draw for the quarter-finals of the Carling Cup, which sees the Potters take on Derby County at the Britannia Stadium on Tuesday, 2 December.
"I'm delighted it's a home tie," said Pulis.
"We'll respect Derby - they were in the Premier League last season and have some good players. It's a cracking game to look forward to."
