Tony Pulis watched Stoke lose at Bolton in their opening game
Stoke City manager Tony Pulis is confident that an electric atmosphere at the Britannia Stadium will help his team against Aston Villa on Saturday.
A 28,000 capacity crowd is expected for Stoke's first home game in the top flight for 23 years.
Pulis told BBC Radio Stoke: "The fans have been looking forward to this for years. It will be a unique atmosphere.
"Our supporters will surprise a lot of clubs. The atmosphere in the stadium on Saturday will be electric."
Pulis added: "Our stadium is a fantastic stadium when it's full. It will surprise a few clubs and it will certainly surprise the people outside of Stoke-on-Trent."
The Potters began the campaign with a 3-1 defeat at Bolton, prompting one bookmaker to start paying out on them to be relegated at the end of their debut season in the Premier League.
