Dominic Matteo is set be offered a coaching role at Stoke City by manager Tony Pulis.

The 34-year-old has been training with the Potters despite being released at the end of last season and may still be offered a deal as a player-coach.

Pulis told BBC Radio Stoke: "We asked Dominic to get involved with the young players and the reserves.

"He's experienced and wants to remain in the game, we want to give him the opportunity to enjoy coaching."
