Stoke City manager Tony Pulis will sign an improved rolling contract before the Premier League season starts.

The Potters boss did not sign a new contract on his return to the Britannia Stadium in 2006, but will sign a 12-month rolling contract this summer.

Chief executive Tony Scholes insists there has never been a problem with the manager's contract situation.

He told BBC Radio Stoke: "With the success of last year we've reviewed the manager's terms."
